Paisleys, Paisleys, Paisleys
Yep, that's right. Paisleys.
This semester I have an internship at Shara's Paperie in Germantown. It's an awesome store and they've been letting me design a lot of patterns so far for their stationery and other items. Mainly right now I've been working with paisleys. Here are some I just came up with today. It is certainly a diversion from the normal illustration work I do, but I'm really having a blast at the store.

Swinging for Dreams and Designing a Poster
So my fiancee rolled into town this weekend to pay me a visit from Chattanooga. Yes, living 300 miles away from the woman I'm going to marry truly sucks.
Anyway, upon her arrival she gave me a mission which I pretty much couldn't refuse. She asked me (so politely) to design a poster for her school's chapter of HFH golf tournament in April. So I got to work thinking on a poster and as she studied abnormal psychology I went to work creating this little puppy. She said she liked it and on such short notice, I think I came up with a pretty good concept. Plus, it kept me up on my design techniques. We'll see if they use the design or not. I know I at least have my fiancee's vote.
